Balanced armature drivers are the finest miniature speakers in the world. Different membranes move inside the armature to create sound waves in the air, which are directly pointed into your ear canal. At breggz, we use your ear scan and custom shell to precisely position the balanced armature in each earpiece, ensuring the optimal placement for your ear. The custom fit creates an isolated area between your ear canal and the speaker to deliver an isolated, fine-tuned audio experience. Our samples at CES 2025 have undergone rigorous testing by a group of 100 music enthusiasts and audiophiles in the Netherlands. The ZOHN-1 has been developed in collaboration with Ear Micro, our innovation partner.

At breggz, our product is never truly “finished”—we are always striving for improvement. However, due to the overwhelmingly positive response, we are proud to present the Zohn-1 to the world. Our confidence in the exceptional sound quality drives us to move forward with sales and final production. We are committed to transparency and will keep our backers updated every step of the way.

Production Quality
Ensuring consistent, high-quality production for a custom-made and handcrafted product is a challenge, especially when gradually scaling. Any inconsistencies can harm the product experience and brand reputation.

To mitigate this risk, we have established our own production and assembly team of breggz employees, based at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, Netherlands. We only partner with experienced manufacturers and suppliers specializing in high-end, small-batch production.

With Odoo, we have implemented an integrated ERP, PLM, and quality control system with checks at every stage of production. This ensures that we maintain strictly defined standards, guaranteeing that only the best products reach our customers. Additionally, by utilizing a barcode scanning system for parts and batches—linked to serial numbers—we can trace every product from customer order back to vendor delivery.

Supply Chain & Logistics
Over the last four years, we have built strong relationships with reliable suppliers and maintained a buffer stock of key components. The first batch of chargers and pebbles (with the one-box technology) for 2,000 sets is ready for final assembly. To complete this phase, we require 2,000 personal ear scans to print and craft the custom shells before preparing for final assembly.

After the sales launch, we will roll out a multi-vendor sourcing strategy to reduce dependency on single suppliers. This approach ensures uninterrupted production and supply, supporting future growth. Our lead time for production and delivery, including unforeseen events, is a maximum of three months.

This timeline allows us to produce and assemble the next 2,000 units or more while simultaneously training new staff to scale production efficiently. By doing so, we ensure that future growth does not compromise our quality standards.

Software Integration & User Experience
A luxury in-ear hearable relies on seamless software integration for customization, sound adjustments, and firmware updates. Any software glitches or a non-intuitive user experience can lead to dissatisfaction among luxury buyers, who expect flawless performance.

To ensure a smooth, high-quality interface, we are working with world-class partner Bragi and investing in thorough software testing across all devices and platforms before launch. Our development team is prepared to address any issues promptly, ensuring ongoing improvements through regular software updates. We also provide a dedicated customer support line to assist users with technical issues, reinforcing our luxury brand image through an exceptional user experience.

Global Certification & Compliance

Additionally, the product is designed with repairability in mind, allowing us to replace the on-box technology and all components in case of breakage or upgrades, further extending its usability.

Reusability & Recyclability
We plan to implement a take-back program at the end of the product’s lifecycle for all backers, ensuring responsible recycling and reuse. Customers can return non-functional units, which we will refurbish or recycle in an environmentally friendly manner.

Our packaging is 100% recyclable, and we encourage users to repurpose it for storage of their device or accessories
